Dr. Jeffrey Johnson

Dr. Jeffrey Johnson finds great satisfaction in building relationships with his dental patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. He particularly enjoys witnessing the relief on a patient’s face after eliminating their discomfort, or seeing their excitement when they first glimpse their new smile in the mirror. Whatever your dental aspirations may be, Dr. Johnson is eager to assist you in reaching them.

Dentistry is a family tradition for Dr. Johnson. With a dentist for a father, he knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue the same career path. In fact, he declared his intention to become a dentist in an elementary school assignment – a childhood ambition that he’s delighted to have realized.

After completing his undergraduate studies at the College of Charleston, Dr. Johnson earned his dental doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. He further enhanced his expertise with advanced training in dental implant surgery at the Engel Implant Institute. His proficiency led to an invitation to serve as a clinical instructor there, and he now teaches implant placement techniques to fellow dentists. Currently, Dr. Johnson is an active member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and SPEAR Education.

Outside his professional life, Dr. Johnson enjoys time with his wife Jennifer and their two miniature dachshunds, Duggie and Daika. He maintains close relationships with his parents and older brother. In his leisure time, Dr. Johnson is often found pursuing aquatic activities. He’s passionate about fishing, boating, and searching for shark teeth along the shore. When not by the water, he prioritizes his physical fitness with regular gym sessions.
